About the opportunity

The New South Wales Department of Education is undertaking an exciting project to enter into a partnership with a licensee to construct and utilise a synthetic sports court at Corrimal High School. This initiative is part of the NSW Government's ongoing commitment to investing in and upgrading schools to support growing communities across the state. The construction of a synthetic sports court at Corrimal High School aims to provide modern facilities and enhanced community resources, reflecting the Department's dedication to creating shared spaces that benefit both students and the wider community.

This investment will deliver a new synthetic sports court facilitiy to cater for a number of sporting needs, including football (soccer) and other sporting and community activities.

Once completed, the new facility is expected to be a valuable community asset delivering more recreation space for local residents and athletes.

The NSW Government invited Expressions of Interest for a partner to construct and hold a 5+5-year licence for the new community sports facility when construction is complete. If permanent lighting is proposed, sub-metering will be required. Please note that the fencing associated with the new synthetic sports court will be funded separately by the school and is not included in the scope of this project.

We invited innovative, community-focused operators who demonstrate a long-term vision for developing community-focused services interested in entering into a 5+5-year licence agreement. The department may consider future development proposals for additional facility upgrades. This discussion may take place following the award of the licence.

Join us in creating a transformative sporting and community facility and make a lasting community impact.
