About the opportunity

The New South Wales Department of Education is undertaking an Expressions of Interest process, seeking responses from local sporting associations/clubs to utilise a two-court indoor sports facility at Blaxland High School. This EOI supports the Department’s Shared Use of Schools Facility Procedure, providing an ongoing commitment to make school facilities available to the community outside of school hours. Reflecting the Department's dedication to creating shared spaces that benefit both students and the wider community.

The Indoor Sports facility at Blaxland High School provides modern facilities and enhanced community resources including two indoor sports courts, change rooms, toilets, canteen and limited off street parking.

The NSW Government is inviting Expressions of Interest from local sporting associations/clubs to utilise the indoor sports facility under a 3+3 year licence arrangement for the facility. The final licence fee will be dependent on the level of usage required.

We invite innovative, community-focused operators who demonstrate a long-term vision for developing community-focused services interested in entering into a 3+3 year licence agreement. The department will consider opportunities for shared use of the facility with multiple groups and  may consider future development proposals for additional facility upgrades. This discussion may take place following the award of the licence.

Join us in operating a sporting and community facility and make a lasting community impact.
