Walgett Community College - High School completed project

As part of the Connected Communities Program, the Department of Education undertook a major project to upgrade Walgett Community College.

The school was allocated funding to substantially rebuild and refurbish the high school campus leading to an increased feeling of security and commitment from students to their education. The redevelopment focused on providing future-focused teaching and learning spaces.

  • Refurbished administration area and staff office.
  • Refurbished outdoor learning area.
  • Landscaping works.
  • The supply and installation of solar panels to reduce ongoing electricity costs.
