As part of the NSW Government's plan to rebuild public education, the NSW Budget is delivering $4.1 billion for new and upgraded schools in Western Sydney. This targeted investment will ensure growing communities get access to a world class public education.

The benefits

The project includes:

a new four-storey building with 28 new classrooms
hall
canteen
dedicated outside of hours school (OOSH) care facilities
a new covered outdoor learning area (COLA)
refurbishments to administration areas and staff facilities
demountable removal
landscaping.

Progress summary

The project’s concept design is almost complete, and we are excited to share the design with the community at a public information session later in 2026.

Since our last update, we have revised the project’s main building design to be 3 levels instead of the originally planned 4, while refining the new hall’s design to meet the school’s requirements.

The concept design details building, room and space layouts on the site and high-level building services like power supply, water supply and drainage.

Next steps

We will hold a community information session in Term 4 2026 to share the first school designs with the community and hear your feedback about the design. We are currently finalising the school’s concept design and planning application, known as a Review of Environmental Factors (REF), which will be submitted and publicly exhibited in late 2026.

The REF includes designs, specialist reports and assessments to ensure we are building a safe, modern school that best serves the Spring Farm community.
