Cartwright Public Preschool completed project

School sites have been selected based on child development and socioeconomic data, projected demand for preschool, an infrastructure analysis, and valuable insights gained through local feedback during the decision-making process. For more information, visit edu.nsw.link/100NewPublicPreschools

Construction for preschool is anticipated to be completed in time for Day 1 Term 1 2027.  The opening date of the preschool will be communicated after service approval is complete.

Pending regulatory and building approvals, Cartwright Public Preschool will accommodate up to 40 children per day.

Children can enrol in preschool from the beginning of the school year if they turn 4 years of age on or before 31 July that year.

Each school will communicate with their community when enrolment applications can be taken, which is expected to be approximately 1 term before the preschool opening date. Information about the established enrolment process for existing public preschools, along with a list of new public preschools currently accepting expressions of interest, is available on the 'How to enrol in a public preschool’ page.
