As part of the NSW Government's plan to rebuild public education, the NSW Budget is delivering record education funding, including $9 billion for new and upgraded schools. This targeted investment will ensure growing communities get access to a world class public education.
The NSW Government is excited to announce plans for a new primary school in Grantham Farm and a new public preschool. This new school will support the growing needs of the Grantham Farm community in the Northwest growth area and allow families to access educational facilities close to home.
The new school is part of the NSW Government’s work to accommodate the significant growth, development, and anticipated enrolments within the local area.
The new school will be located on the corner of Crown Street and Hamilton Street in Grantham Farm and will open in early 2028.
Vineyard Public School students
As part of the long-term planning for growth and infrastructure development in the area, Vineyard Public School students and staff will transition to the new school in Grantham Farm once built to mitigate future impacts to its site from the planned Bandon Road upgrade by Transport for NSW.
Student learning will continue at the current Vineyard Public School until the new primary school in Grantham Farm is built.
We will work closely with Vineyard Public School and the broader community to support a smooth transition and ensure that Vineyard Public School’s legacy and history are reflected in the new school. Further updates regarding this will be shared as the project progresses.
