As part of the NSW Government's plan to rebuild essential services, the 2023-24 Budget is delivering a record $3.6 billion for new and upgraded schools in Western Sydney. This targeted investment in growing communities will ensure working families get access to a world class public education.
Planning is underway for the new high school for Gledswood Hills and Gregory Hills to cater for the growing population. The permanent high school is due to open Day 1, Term 1 2027, subject to planning approvals.
In the short term, a purpose-built temporary high school has opened on Day 1 Term 1 2025 to cater for Year 7 and Year 8 students. It is located at the corner of Long Reef Circuit, alongside Gregory Hills Public School.
