Taylor Constructions has been appointed as the construction contractor to build the new high school.
Heritage NSW has granted the Aboriginal Heritage Impact Permit (AHIP), enabling work to commence.
Consultation with the Aboriginal community is continuing through the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Assessment process and the Connecting with Country framework as part of the design process.
Connecting with Country workshops are continuing with the community and progressing well. These workshops help to inform the design, landscaping and cultural elements of the new high school. This cultural process, shaped by ongoing dialogue and led by community voices, ensures that we deliver a school that supports a culturally inclusive learning environment and education opportunities for all students.
The first stage of temporary construction site sheds has arrived onsite, with all permanent site sheds to be installed by February 2026.
The removal of contaminated materials has now been completed as well as the installation of temporary facilities and utilities including water and power to the site.
The enrolment intake area (sometimes known as the ‘catchment’) for the new high school has been finalised. To view the intake area in more detail you can visit School Finder.
