As part of the NSW Government's plan to rebuild public education, the NSW Budget is delivering $3.9 billion for new and upgraded schools in Western Sydney. This targeted investment will ensure growing communities get access to a world class public education.

This project will deliver a new high school for the growing community of Tallawong. This is in addition to new primary schools for Nirimba Fields, Tallawong, Gables and upgrades for Schofields Public School, John Palmer Public School, Riverbank Public School, The Ponds High School and Rouse Hill High School.

Tallawong High School will open for Years 7 and 8 on Day 1 Term 1 2027.

The school has been officially named Tallawong High School.
David Browne has been appointed as the Foundation Principal for Tallawong High School. You can read his welcome message in the latest Project Update.
Enrolments for Years 7 and 8 for 2027 are now open. Enrol now for Tallawong High School
Taylor Constructions has been appointed as the construction contractor to build Tallawong High School.
Heritage NSW has granted the Aboriginal Heritage Impact Permit (AHIP), enabling work to commence.
Consultation with the Aboriginal community is continuing through the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Assessment process and the Connecting with Country framework.
