How many students will the new school cater for?
The school will cater for 750 students.
What will be the name of the new school?
The proposed name of the new high school will be developed in line with the Naming of NSW Government Schools Policy and Procedures and involve consultation with the community before a name is proposed to the Geographical Naming Board and to the Minister for Education.
What is the school intake area?
The school enrolment intake area (sometimes known as ‘catchment’) will be confirmed closer to the school opening and will be based on the most up to date demographic data and detailed projections on the number of school aged children living in the local area at the time the school opens.
We will publish the intake area and enrolment information for this project when construction nears completion. In the meantime, School Finder is an online tool for parents to use to locate NSW public schools in your intake area. This can be accessed at education.nsw.gov.au/school-finder.
When can I enrol my child?
Enrolments will take place approximately 6-12 months before opening in line with the appointment of a school Principal. We will provide a notification to the local community when enrolment opens.
What year groups will start at the new high school in 2029?
The year groups in place at school opening are to be determined. As is standard practice for new high schools, the school will open in a staged manner, with a select number of year groups in its first year of operation.
As with intake area changes, this will typically be confirmed around 12 months before the new school opens to ensure the community is well informed ahead of enrolment periods and to allow the school to prepare for anticipated student numbers.
What courses will be available for students on Day 1 Term 1 2029?
The new high school will follow the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) curriculum exploring key learning areas including; English, Mathematics, Science, Languages, PDHPE, HSIE, Creative Arts, Technological and Applied Studies (TAS) and VET Hospitality.

What will the school start times be?
The high school hours of operation will be determined closer to the opening of the school in collaboration with local transport agencies, the primary school, and the Principal once appointed.
