As part of the NSW Government's plan to rebuild public education, the 2024-25 Budget is delivering record education funding, including $3.6 billion for new and upgraded schools in Western Sydney. This targeted investment will ensure growing communities get access to a world class public education.
Work is underway for the permanent Nirimba Fields Public School. In the short term, a purpose-built temporary primary school opened in February 2024 to cater for Kindergarten to Year 6 students. The temporary school is located at the corner of Triton Parade and Nabthorpe Parade, Nirimba Fields. It occupies approximately 40% of the site, along the southern boundary, which will allow for the future construction of the permanent school.
As part of NSW Government’s commitment to deliver expanded access to early childhood education, this school will include an on-site public preschool.
