As part of the NSW Government's plan to rebuild public education, the NSW Budget is delivering $4.1 billion for new and upgraded schools in Western Sydney. This targeted investment will ensure growing communities get access to a world class public education.

We’re excited to share that construction of Nirimba Fields Public School is complete and students moved into their new facilities on 27 May 2026, ahead of schedule.

The on-site public preschool will include preschool rooms, an outside play area, administration, staff kitchen, amenities, car park, and associated landscaping. Construction will be complete by Day 1 Term 1 2027.

Nirimba Fields Public School will communicate with their community when enrolment applications can be taken, which is expected to be approximately 1 term before the preschool opening date. NSW Government delivers new Nirimba Fields Public School ahead of schedule

Students and staff at Nirimba Fields Public School are moving out of demountable classrooms and into their brand-new permanent school.

Public school students return to new and upgraded classrooms

The NSW Government has delivered 18 new and upgraded schools in time for the start of Term 1.

Three new schools revealed for high-growth northwest Sydney

Nearly 1,000 students in Sydney’s rapidly-growing north-west will be able to attend school locally from Term 1 next year, with three temporary schools opening as an urgent stopgap measure for the community while permanent facilities are built.

Enrolment for Kindergarten to Year 6 students from Day 1, Term 1 2024 at the temporary Nirimba Fields Public School is now open.

The intake area was developed in consultation with the Directors of Leadership, School Operational Readiness, and the Quakers Hill Principals Network. Visit schoolfinder.education.nsw.gov.au to view a map of the intake area.
