New Environmental Education Centre (Penrith Lakes)

As part of the NSW Government's plan to rebuild public education, the 2025-26 Budget is delivering $3.9 billion for new and upgraded schools in Western Sydney. This targeted investment will ensure growing communities get access to a world class public education.

We are planning a new permanent facility for the Environmental Education Centre at Penrith Lakes.

The project has recently been classified as a State Significant Development (SSD). More information will be provided as the project progresses through the SSD application statutory planning pathway.
