New primary school and co-located public early learning for Rhodes

As part of the NSW Government's plan to rebuild public education, the NSW Budget is delivering record education funding, including $9.2 billion for new and upgraded schools. This targeted investment will ensure growing communities get access to a world class public education.

The NSW government is planning for a new primary school with co-located public early learning service in Rhodes to accommodate and support the growing community in Canada Bay.

The new primary school in Rhodes will include fit-for-purpose class rooms and core facilities to meet the needs of the local community.

The department has secured the land for the primary school, which adjoins Leeds Street, Cavell Avenue and Blaxland Road in Rhodes.

The new primary school will accomodate 900 students.

The new school and co-located early learning will open on Day 1 Term 1 2030.

  • 40 classrooms 
  • 3 support learning classrooms
  • multipurpose hall
  • canteen
  • library
  • administrative facilities
  • covered outdoor learning area (COLA)
  • co-located public early learning.
