The benefits
The first stage of the project saw construction of Block G, a building with three levels, all accessible by lift, including:
- eight general learning spaces
- an outdoor woodwork workshop, storeroom, cleaners’ storeroom, and a dust extractor
- a metalwork workshop with a welding area and storeroom
- a darkroom
- two visual arts workshops with storerooms
- a kiln room
- staff offices and toilets.
The second stage of the project saw upgrades and refurbishments of rooms in Block B to provide:
- seven general learning spaces
- a kitchen with a storeroom and change room
- a seminar room
- a staff office.
