Casula High School upgrade

Students are now using the recently refurbished music facilities, which were completed in July 2026.

The works included converting 2 former storerooms into new practice studio spaces and refreshing 2 existing music spaces in the Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) area, with new carpet, pinboard wall linings and ceilings.

Design is continuing for the remaining upgrades, including:

• a new recording studio and laser cutting room within an existing technology space
• refurbishment of the visual arts room
• further upgrades to the CAPA facilities.

Planning is also progressing for upgrades to the administration area, including a new student hub and an extension to support the reconfiguration of existing administration spaces.

Design work is continuing for the school entrance refresh. Current plans include a larger bus shelter, new pathway and landscaping, alongside improvements to wayfinding, lighting and signage. These elements will continue to be refined through the design process.

Over the coming months, we will:

• continue design development for the recording studio, laser cutting room, visual arts room and CAPA upgrades
• progress the design of the upgrade to the administration area 
• continue design development for the school entrance refresh, including the bus shelter, pathway, landscaping, wayfinding, lighting and signage
• prepare the remaining works for tender for a builder in early 2027, with construction expected to start during 2027.
