Hunter River Community School prides itself on its ability to deliver best practice in the education of students with special needs. All members of the learning support team are involved in a collaborative process to develop educational programs, which satisfy the individual needs and learning styles of students. The school provides an environment in which positive learning enhances self esteem and personal growth.
Having outgrown its home on South Street, Telarah approximately 11 years ago, the project ensured the delivery of permanent classrooms and the removal of all demountable classrooms.
