Holroyd School provides educational programs for students with moderate and severe intellectual disabilities.

The new unit provides advanced learning facilities for students with complex learning needs.

The facilities will keep Holroyd School at the cutting edge of special needs educational provision. The changes delivered a modern, fully accessible learning environment able to meet the needs of the school’s students.

The benefits

  • 15 new classrooms with practical activity areas, withdrawal spaces and shared change room, shower and toilet facilities.
  • The refurbishment of an existing classroom block to provide a special education unit, covered walkways, ramps, toilets and laundries.
  • The relocation of other facilities to allow easier movement within the school.
