Dubbo South Public School upgrade completed project

The main upgrade works to replace fire damaged buildings at Dubbo South Public School with a new consolidated building are now finished.

The benefits

Five new classrooms have been constructed, as well as:

  • a practical activities area

  • 2 special program rooms

  • a staff study area

  • staff lounge area with amenities, meeting space, and storage facilities.

Exterior upgrades include:

  • tiered seating

  • covered walkways

  • access ramps

  • carpark resurfacing

  • landscaping enhancements.

Other works that have been completed as part of the fire rebuild project include:

  • information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure upgrades

  • repair of the covered outdoor learning area (COLA) and its new play equipment

  • replacement of the synthetic turf on the quadrangle

  • repair of the damaged boundary fencing.
