As part of the NSW Government's plan to rebuild public education, the NSW Budget is delivering $2.3 billion for new and upgraded schools in regional NSW. This targeted investment will ensure growing communities get access to a world class public education.
As part of the long-term planning for growth and infrastructure development in the Lake Macquarie area, early planning is underway to build a brand-new expanded school on a new site for Cooranbong Public School with co-located public early learning service.
The expanded Cooranbong Public School will be located on Jeremiah Drive, Cooranbong, with modern purpose-built facilities for 750 students, ensuring the school is equipped to meet the needs of the growing community.
The new site will open in early 2029, Cooranbong Public School will continue operating from its current site until that time to ensure continuity of learning for students.
