Brewarrina Central School completed project

As part of the NSW Government's Connected Communities initiative, a $35 million capital investment and maintenance program was completed to improve facilities in some of the state's most disadvantaged rural and remote schools.

Brewarrina Central School upgrades are now finished and operational.

The benefits

  • A new student learning hub with a flexible learning space for secondary students.
  • Integrating the outdoor areas with covered outdoor learning areas (COLAs).
  • Refurbishment of seven junior learning spaces to provide new interactive LCD screens, practical activity areas, withdrawal spaces and storage.
  • New sports oval and associated amenities.
  • A new community learning hub providing a flexible space for community learning opportunities.
