As part of the NSW Government's Connected Communities initiative, a $35 million capital investment and maintenance program was completed to improve facilities in some of the state's most disadvantaged rural and remote schools.
Brewarrina Central School upgrades are now finished and operational.

- Refurbishment of seven junior learning spaces to provide new interactive LCD screens, practical activity areas, withdrawal spaces and storage.

- A new community learning hub providing a flexible space for community learning opportunities.
