Initial upgrades were completed in time for Asquith High School (formerly Asquith Girls High School) to open as a co-educational Years 7–12 high school accepting Years 7, 9 and 11 on Day 1 Term 1 2026. All cohorts will be co-educational from 2027.
The next stage of the project will be to refresh the science labs and wet art workshop, upgrade the existing student kitchen to a commercial kitchen and upgrade the staff and administration facilities. We will also repurpose existing spaces to deliver a new makerspace for Technology and Applied Studies (TAS) classes and a fitness centre with dedicated change room facilities. We expect this final stage of works to be complete by mid-2027.
