Mosman High School students spring into rooftop play space

Release date: 26 October 2023

Mosman High school students are enjoying the breezy weather this Spring in a new outdoor and rooftop play space.

The rooftop space has been built on top of a new multi-storey building, which includes several classrooms.

Mosman High School Principal Susan Wyatt said the new outdoor and rooftop play space has enviable views of Sydney, which students can enjoy as they play and socialise.

“It’s a beautiful space overlooking the harbour. There are courts where students can play ball games and seated areas where they can hang out or study between classes,” Ms Wyatt said.

“Creating new innovative spaces like this gives our students a new place to learn and create memories.

“Mosman High School students have been taking full advantage of this beautiful Spring weather and enjoying this new space as much as possible.”

The new rooftop and outdoor play space opened in Term 3.

It is part of a larger upgrade to Mosman High School, which will provide students with the latest educational facilities for teaching and learning.

The upgrade project is delivering 16 additional flexible learning spaces, a new library, a multipurpose gym/hall, a canteen, and administration/staff facilities.
