COVID-19 update: Construction remains on pause in 8 LGAs of concern

In line with the NSW Government’s COVID-19 Guidelines, construction on some School Infrastructure projects located in the 8 local government areas (LGAs) of concern will continue to be paused.

Our work sites in these areas will remain closed, but you may see some workers at public schools and school construction sites working in line with the current regulations to:

  • ensure the safety or security of the construction site or school
  • deal with environmental risks
  • maintain critical plant or equipment that would otherwise deteriorate.

Safety is the number one priority for School Infrastructure NSW and we are following all health advice in relation to construction sites.

We will publish regular updates on our website to communicate any changes on our construction sites in Greater Sydney, in line with NSW Government’s COVID-19 Guidelines.
