Upgraded Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School to open this week

Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School students will return to school this week to a new technology building and boarding accommodation facilities, with the school’s multi-million dollar upgrade now complete.
The new technology building includes two specialised technology classrooms, two wood workshops and two metal workshops. The brand new boarding facilities have accommodation to house around 100 students.
With Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School now complete, there is one more major project currently in progress in the Tamworth community with design work currently underway for a major upgrade to Tamworth Public School.
Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School upgrade is one of 17 new and upgraded schools opening across NSW for the start of the new school year.
The NSW Government is investing $6 billion over four years to deliver more than 170 new and upgraded schools to support communities across NSW. In addition, $847 million is being spent on school maintenance over four years.
