Designs completed for Callaghan College Jesmond Campus

The local community will benefit from an upgrade to Callaghan College Jesmond Campus, with concept designs now finalised under the biggest public education infrastructure investment program in NSW history.
The project will provide a multi-purpose hall over two levels with nine new, permanent learning spaces including art, performance and fitness classrooms and an associated performing arts space.
A new entry road will also be constructed as part of the project and an all-weather cover installed over the school’s existing basketball courts.
This is all part of the NSW Government's record-breaking school building program, the biggest investment in public education infrastructure in the state’s history.
The NSW Government is spending $6 billion over four years to deliver more than 170 new and upgraded schools.
That includes an additional $160 million in 2018/19 for planned maintenance as part of a record $747 million maintenance investment announced last year.
