New Gledswood Hills primary school goes to tender

Release date: 19 April 2018

The Gledswood Hills community will benefit from a new primary school built and funded by the NSW Government.

Works will now go out to tender for the project, which will include 24 new classrooms, a library, hall, Out of School Hours (OOSH) facilities, and a covered outdoor learning area (COLA).

The new school will be capable of accommodating about 600 students, with scope to expand to 1000 students in the future.

Member for Camden Chris Patterson welcomed the project reaching this important next step.

“Our children deserve the very best when it comes to their education, and this new school will be the very best we can provide,” Mr Patterson said.

“I’m delighted the NSW Government is delivering this new school.”

Education Minister Rob Stokes said the NSW Government was working hard to deliver the school facilities students and local communities need.

“This project will give students high-quality education resources to help them succeed and thrive now and into the future,” Rob Stokes said.
