Release date: 26 March 2018

Students and teachers at Greenwich Public School will benefit from a major upgrade that will provide new and improved classrooms, library and school hall funded by the NSW Government.

Development applications have been lodged and construction works will soon go out to tender for the upgrade at the school’s Kingslangley and Greenwich Road campuses, which will include 24 new classrooms, the new library and upgrades to facilities including the school’s hall, special program rooms and canteen.

Member for Lane Cove Anthony Roberts welcomed the project reaching this vital stage.

“We want our children to have the best education possible, and this project will help deliver the high quality education our children deserve,” Mr Roberts said.

“I’m pleased the NSW Government is delivering this important project.”

Education Minister Rob Stokes said the NSW Government was working hard to deliver the school facilities students and local communities need.

“This project will give students the resources they need to succeed in the 21stcentury,” Rob Stokes said.
