The hall is progressing well and reached ‘lock up’ stage with the roof on. Other progress includes:
- The performance area is taking shape, with the stage and the chair store almost finished and the stage being prepared for hanging the curtains.
- The hall’s structural flooring has been installed.
- We are currently installing timber linings and ‘echo panels’ in the walls, which are designed to soak up sound to minimise noise for the school and surrounding community.
- The building is finally losing its raw construction look, with internal windows in, the first coats of paint being applied, and the individual rooms like the kitchenette, bathrooms, and corridor are now clearly defined.
- The library has received a facelift and will have new furniture delivered in early April.
