Planning is underway for the establishment of a new high school in Bungendore to accommodate more than 450 students and to upgrade facilities at Bungendore Public School.
The new high school will have contemporary facilities including:
24 flexible learning spaces including 3 support learning spaces
Kiss and drop zones
Learning spaces will be built to enable teaching of English, Mathematics, Science, Technologies, Human Society and its Environment (HSIE), Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE), Creative Arts, Languages, Vocational Education and Training (VET), and Agriculture.
As part of the high school project there will also be new community facilities, additional local car parking and updated storage facilities for the scout hall.
Bungendore Public School will also receive upgrades, including to the existing playing field, a new amenities block and new field lighting. Additional teaching spaces are also to be created at Bungendore Public School.
