Designs approved for new Canterbury South Public School

Release date: 19 September 2018

New concept designs have been finalised for the new Canterbury South Public School, as part of the largest public education infrastructure investment program in the history of NSW.

The project is scheduled for completion in 2021 and includes new classrooms to increase school enrolment capacity to accommodate 690 students. New administration facilities will also be delivered.

This project will provide students and teachers with the resources they need to succeed now and into the future.

The NSW Government is spending $6 billion over four years to deliver more than 170 new and upgraded schools. This includes an additional $160 million spend in 2018/19 as part of the record $747 million maintenance investment announced last year. This is the biggest investment in public school infrastructure in the history of NSW.
